CLG and NRG traded maps (16-7 on Train for CLG and 16-14 on Dust2 for NRG) in the first match of ELEAGUE's second day.
Day two of ELEAGUE's Group C began with a clash between CLG, who had failed to impress against Astralis in ther opening match in Atlanta, and the new NRG lineup, which, on the other hand, had posed the Danish team all sorts of troubles.
Starting off on the Terrorist side of Train, NRG were successful in their fast B execute in the pistol round and followed it up with the first gun round to build a 4-0 lead. CLG then finally got a round on the board, courtesy of a triple kill by Faruk "pita" Pita in an eco round.
CLG picked up the first map but could not go all the way
That win eventually turned into a string as CLG redeemed themselves for the slow start, dropping just one more round before the end of the half to secure a promising 10-5 lead.
The second half began with CLG taking the pistol round with a well-timed A split, with Josh "jdm64" Marzano getting three kills to his name. The North American team eventually brought the scoreline to a 14-5 advantage to get on the brink of victory. NRG kept themselves in the game courtesy of a trio of MAG7 kills from Fatih "gob b" Dayik, but there was nothing they could do to keep CLG from taking the map.

Dust2 began with CLG taking the pistol round and the corresponding anti-ecos to secure a 3-0 lead. The first full gun round then went NRG's way, but the German team were unable to capitalise on it, allowing CLG to hit back without losing any player.
With little money in the bank, NRG went on a force buy, a strategy that paid off and triggered a five-round streak. The next two rounds went to CLG, who restored parity at 6-6, but NRG would not give it up so easily and closed out the half with a three-round lead.
Now playing on the Terrorist side, CLG went on an incredible run and won seven of the first eight rounds to take a commanding 13-10 lead. But after calling a timeout to adjust their defense, NRG took a huge string of rounds to close it out 16-14 and pick up a vital point in Atlanta.
